Agent Evaluation
Evaluating agents beyond final accuracy to ensure their reasoning and execution steps faithfully align with human expectations.
Incoming PhD Student
I am a final-year undergraduate student at Tongji University, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Software Engineering. Starting in Fall 2026, I will begin my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Notre Dame, advised by Dr. Toby Li.
My research focuses on human-agent collaboration, bridging human-centered system design and model evaluation. I am particularly interested in process-oriented agent evaluation—ensuring agents not only deliver correct outcomes but also exhibit reasoning and execution steps deeply aligned with human intentions. To achieve this, I design, build, and evaluate interactive systems that leverage agents to augment end-users in complex workflows.

Designing interactive systems that seamlessly integrate agents to empower users and augment their capabilities in complex tasks.
Exploring human-AI co-evolution by aligning model behaviors with user intentions and studying how AI reshapes human workflows.
My favorite sport is water polo. I spent three wonderful years training with my undergraduate team, and I was part of the squad that won 4th place in the China National College Water Polo Championship.
I have enjoyed playing computer games since I was a child. I started playing League of Legends when I was 12, and I also love games like Overwatch and Apex Legends.
I was fortunate to receive a fully funded opportunity (the YFEL program) to visit Abu Dhabi. It was my first time experiencing Middle Eastern culture and luxury.
